Heavy-duty, high-energy coil with extra turns of copper wire in the
secondary windings for as much as 45,000 volts to the spark plugs - more turns
of copper wire than other standard-sized canister coils.
Application:
Ideal for 4-cylinder distributors. Provides more primary resistance to protect from
overheating due to high-voltage or high-temperature environments.
Designed specifically to produce maximum spark
when used
with Hot-Spark red electronic ignition conversion kits
(red ignition module). Also excellent for points-based
distributors - high primary resistance helps reduce points burning, pitting.
Epoxy-filled
canister (not oil-filled) to withstand high-vibration
environments
Rugged, mirror-polished case -
won't chip or peel like chrome-plated coil canisters.
Standard 56mm (2.2 in.) coil
diameter - fits stock coil clamps.
